Great Tips
To maximise nutritional availability, Potato Protein Isolate should be gently heated before use.
*Heating is not necessary for hot recipes like soups, sauces & meat analogues that require heating before consuming.
Dissolve the desired amount in a small quantity of cold water. It will appear to clump but don't worry. Leave it in the water for approximately 15 minutes and stir at intervals.
Once completely dissolved heat to 75–90°C for 2–5 minutes while stirring.
Heating helps to denature the protein making the amino acids more digestible and increasing overall protein bioavailability
(PDCAAS - Protein Digestibility-Corrected Amino Acid Score).
Allow to cool slightly before adding to smoothies, desserts or cold recipes.
*Do not heat if using it for foaming.
